This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use and share it, and the choices you have. It applies to quinnsconstruction.com and every page we run on our domain, including our landing pages (such as go.quinnsconstruction.com), our website chat, and the text messages, emails and phone calls we exchange with you.

Information we collect

Information you give us

  • When you ask for an estimate, a consultation or information: your name, phone number, email address, the address of your property, the type of project, your town, your timeline, how you prefer to be contacted, and any comments or questions you include.
  • When you chat with us on our website, text us, email us or call us: what you tell us in those conversations, and the phone number or email address you use.
  • When you become a customer: details about your property and project, measurements and photos of your property, scheduling details, and the information in your estimate and contract.
  • When you apply for a job: your name, phone number, email address and résumé, and anything you choose to include in it, such as work history and education.
  • When you give us feedback or a review.

Information collected automatically

When you visit our website, we and the companies whose tools run on it automatically collect some technical information: your IP address, your browser and device type, the pages you view, the date and time of your visit, and the website, ad or link that brought you here. This is collected with cookies, pixels and similar technologies, including:

  • The Meta Pixel, which tells Meta (the company behind Facebook and Instagram) about visits and requests on our website so we can measure and improve our ads.
  • Google reCAPTCHA, which helps keep spam and automated submissions out of our forms. It collects hardware and software information for spam and fraud analysis, and its use is subject to Google’s Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
  • Embedded Google Maps, which is subject to Google’s Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
  • The tracking in our customer management and chat software, which records which page or ad a request came from.

Information from others

We may receive information about you from advertising platforms (for example, when you send us a request through a Facebook or Instagram ad), from people who refer you to us, from manufacturers and programs that pass along homeowner inquiries, and from review and customer feedback services.

How we use your information

  • To answer your request, contact you the way you asked, and schedule calls, consultations and visits.
  • To send appointment confirmations and reminders.
  • To prepare estimates, carry out and manage your project, and provide customer service and warranty support.
  • To follow up after you receive an estimate.
  • To send you information about our work, such as project photos, reviews and updates, by email, and by text message only if you agreed to receive marketing texts.
  • To send customer satisfaction surveys and review requests where the law allows, and by text message only if you agreed to that type of text.
  • To understand which ads, pages and sources bring in requests, and to improve our website and advertising.
  • To review job applications and contact applicants.
  • To protect our website and forms against spam, fraud and misuse.
  • To keep the records we need for tax, legal, warranty and business purposes, and to comply with the law.

Text messages

We ask for two separate consents, and neither box is checked for you: one for texts about your request, appointments, project and customer service, and one for marketing texts. We send only the kinds of texts you agreed to. Giving a phone number on an estimate form, without checking a text consent box, is not consent to receive texts. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to opt out of further texts from us, or HELP for help. After you reply STOP, we will not text that number again unless you sign up again, though we may still contact you by phone or email about an existing project where the law and your preferences allow. The full terms are in the Text Messaging Terms section of our Terms of Service. No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

Automated messages and assistant

Some text messages and website chat replies are sent with automated systems, including an automated assistant that answers common questions and helps schedule your call with our office. We send automated texts only if you consented to texts. You can ask to speak with a person at any time.

Phone calls

We do not record phone calls unless we tell you at the start of the call and everyone on the call consents, as Massachusetts law requires. If you do not want the call recorded, tell us and we will continue without recording.

How we share your information

We do not share your personal information with other companies for their own marketing. We share it only in these situations:

  • Service providers. Companies that help us run our business, only as much as they need to do that work for us: our website host and form tools; our customer management, website chat, text messaging and email software; the automated scheduling assistant; our project management, measuring and project photo tools; our marketing agency; customer feedback and review services; and our accountants and other professional advisers. Our marketing agency uses website and lead source information to run our advertising. We do not share mobile numbers or text message opt-in and consent data with our marketing agency or any other third party for their marketing or promotional purposes.
  • Advertising and website tools. Meta and Google receive the technical information described above through the tools that run on our website.
  • Manufacturer warranties. To register a manufacturer’s warranty on your project, we may give the manufacturer your name, the property address and details of the work.
  • Financing. We do not lend money and we do not make credit decisions. If you apply for financing, you apply directly with the lender, on the lender’s website, and the lender’s own privacy policy applies. The lender may tell us whether your application was approved so we can plan your project.
  • Legal and safety reasons. When the law requires it, to respond to legal process, or to protect the rights and safety of our customers, our company or others.
  • Business changes. If our business is merged with or transferred to another company, as part of that transaction.

Cookies and your choices about tracking

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though parts of our website may not work as well without them. You can control how Meta uses information for ads in your Facebook or Instagram ad settings, and how Google uses information for ads in your Google account settings. Our website does not currently respond to “Do Not Track” signals from browsers.

How long we keep information

We keep information for as long as we need it for the purposes in this policy. For customers, that includes the length of any warranty on your project and the time the law requires us to keep business and tax records. If you contacted us but did not hire us, we keep your information while we may still be in touch about your project, and you can ask us to delete it at any time. We keep job applications for the active hiring cycle and then for a limited period for legitimate business and legal recordkeeping, after which we delete them.

How we protect information

We use administrative, technical and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information, including measures that meet Massachusetts data security requirements where they apply. No website, email or data storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your choices and rights

  • Emails: click “unsubscribe” in any marketing email, or contact us.
  • Text messages: reply STOP to any text.
  • Phone calls: ask us not to call you, and we will add you to our internal do-not-call list and honor it. We also follow the federal and state do-not-call rules that apply to telemarketing calls.
  • Seeing, correcting or deleting your information: contact us using the details below. We will confirm your identity and respond as the law requires. We may keep information we need for legal, tax or warranty reasons.
  • State privacy rights: depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under your state’s privacy law. We will honor them as that law requires.

Children

Our website and services are meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Links to other websites

Our website links to other websites, such as lenders, manufacturers, review sites and social media. Their own privacy policies apply when you visit them.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the new version on this page with a new effective date.
