GREEN CONSTRUCTION
Quinn's Construction is focused on environmentally
sensitive building practices and on using eco-friendly
building materials wherever practical - both in
remodeling and in new building construction. Building
“green” with an awareness of the
environmental impact is a philosophy that makes sense
for our customers and for our world. Quinn's
Construction views every project as an opportunity to
evaluate and potentially reduce environmental impact.

Quinn's
Construction is concerned about the environment. We
offer products with the ENERGY STAR label.
ENERGY STAR was created to help consumers easily
identify products, homes, and buildings that save
energy, money, and help protect the environment. As
the government-backed, trusted symbol for energy
efficiency, the ENERGY STAR label
identifies highly efficient products and designates
superior energy performance in homes and buildings.
With ENERGY STAR, money isn't all you're saving - you
are also making a difference in protecting the
environment. And, that's important to all of us.

There is
no doubt that “green” and “sustainable” mean different
things to different people. And, while the definition
of each is sometimes uncertain, the importance of
being environmentally responsible is crystal clear.
Did you know there are sustainable advantages in using
AZEK’s cellular pvc decking and trim products?
AZEK
Building Products, a leading manufacturer of premium,
low maintenance building products and division of CPG
International, has taken a lifecycle approach to the
issue of sustainability. AZEK’s current and long-term
position, along with the other CPG division

You may have read about United Waste
Management and their affiliation with the U.S. Green Building
Council (USGBC), a national organization founded in 1993 for
the purpose of promoting environmental
responsibility
throughout the building community. The USGBC'S LEED™ Program
(Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) provides
United Waste Management with a unique platform to market their
ability to recycle a high percentage of construction and
demolition waste processed at their Boston facility. This is
good news for Quinn's Construction. We recycle
roof shingles through a program with United Waste.
Our recycled roof shingles spend their next few years as
roads.

A cool roof minimizes the solar heat
gain of a building by first reflecting incoming sun
rays and then by quickly re-emitting the remaining
absorbed portion. As a result, the cool roof stays
cooler than a traditional roof of similar
construction. Read about the GAF's
